Melted the Cooler, Not the Ice

by
I was traveling down to Rocky Point, Mexico for a week-long vacation with family and I need a little extra room in my truck to get all of our stuff down south. I picked up one of those receiver hitch cargo carries used and thought it would be the perfect solution. Unfortunately I failed to account for the rear exit exhaust on my truck. Heading down south I placed the RTIC 45 on the cargo rack and it was the perfect fit, made it all the way down with no issues. However, on our return trip we were slowed at the border in a line for a couple hours, when I got back into the states and stopped for fuel I discovered the outer shell of my RTIC pretty melted from the exhaust. The damage to the cooler was pretty intense, revealing the inner foam layer. Thinking back on it I definitely should not have packed the cooler within inches of the exhaust, I learned the hard way that it gets pretty hot back there. The craziest part of the entire trip was once I got home after driving through the Arizona desert and melting the outer shell with my poorly chosen cooler placement, I still had ice. Melted the cooler, not the ice. Best set of coolers out there!

Great cooler!

by
This is a great quality cooler at a good price point the only small complaint I have is that I can’t get it to hold Ice on the boat when the sun is on the cooler more than 2 days! Would buy again!
|

Better than competitors

by
I’ve had two identical coolers of the competing brand, never held Ice how advertised. I use my 45 on the back of my Can-Am, right over the exhaust, it keeps drinks cold longer than the other guys. Great accessories to keep her held down on rougher than most trails as well.

Keeps our bulk meat purchases cold

by
We purchased an RTIC 110 cooler to transport our large bulk meat purchases cold during the trip back from CO. It works GREAT. It does exactly what we wanted, for a reasonable price. We've also used it just for groceries on long trips from our house to town in the summer to keep the cold foods from thawing or warming and it always works for that too. It keeps our groceries cool or frozen, it's indestructible, and fits really neatly in the back of our SUV. It IS quite large and, fully-loaded, is quite a handful to pick up and move around, but, we already knew that. We liked this cooler so much, we continued to collect a variety of RTIC products since we purchased it and have never been disappointed.

Everything cooler!

by
I've had my 45 RTIC cooler for 4 years and it has never failed me. From hunts bring back meat to fishing all weekend in the hot sun or just to have ice on a weekend at the lake. These coolers are the best for the money, not they are the best. I have a yeti and I buy the RTICs. I try and get them on sell and have no problem paying that price. Just got my second 65 this week. I'm with everyone else on have wheels on the bigger coolers. That's why I didn't get a 110. Drink beer out of the coolers all wknd and never add any ice. Love them!!!

GREAT COOLER

by
I love the RTIC 65 cooler. However, I have just one point to disagree on - the "Keeps Ice for 10 Days". I have used this cooler both on camping trips as well as indoors and the ice NEVER lasts that long - 3 days tops. So someone please tell me how to keep ice that long. Otherwise, this is the best cooler we've ever had. Love it in spite of the lack of keeping ice for as long as advertised. And would buy it again.

65 is awesome

by
My little brother bought my dad and me a 65 cooler each a few years back. This cooler has been in the back of my truck ever since. It has been used for work, family events, fishing with the fam, and every possible reason you would need to have a cooler for. I can’t complain either. This thing is tough as nails!!! Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another or recommend to someone to buy.
|

by
I love my RTIC coolers. I have a 20 and 65. Both keep ice for days and have been on a bunch of hunting and fishing trips. My only issue is the 65 has leaked water from the plug since day 1. I’d love to get a new plug or find some type of fix for this. Otherwise no complaints and I’ll definitely be buying 110 for my next trip.

Road / camping trip with the RTIC- 20

by
I took my RTIC-20 on a month long, solo, cross-country road and camping trip last Fall. I was amazed by its durability (and mine) to have survived my truck getting demolished from rolling three times and it remained pristine, to that, I only had to buy cubed ice for it about every four days. This was great as I was in some pretty remote areas, without access to get more provisions nearby. It kept my perishable items fresh. I'm looking forward to more adventures (sans any wrecks) in the years to come, with my little white 20. I chose white for its reflective quality, figuring it would keep things cooler longer.

Great Versatile Cooler

by
This is our 3rd Rtic cooler and probably the most versatile of the 3. We have a white 110 on our boat, a tan 45 that is for my hunting cabin, and the blue 20 for day trips. The blue is my wife's favorite color and it is perfect for little day trips and even overnight stays. I am addicted to Rtic and they keep producing quality products to feed my addiction!

Sight Fishing

by
We carry our RTIC 45 on the boat. We often use it as a platform for sight fishing Redfish in the Louisiana marsh. My son and I are 235 and 270 lbs. Great cooler. I used to use the other guys till they bailed on the NRA. RTIC is equal to or better than them.
|

Cooler. Cooler everywhere

by
I am a volunteer and I have tried most coolers out there. For the money RTIC is my choice for value and dependability. Never failed me and always performs like brand new. My problem is someone decided with the virus they needed my cooler more than me. I was going to use to transfer my food for the night for my new fridge I ordered. So now scrambling to find on big enough for my stuff. HELP RTIC please.
|

by

by
I added the RTIC 20 to my collection and it has performed flawlessly. I enjoy the ruggedness and quality of their products.

Kept my meat cold

by
I was on a 5 day hunt in Laredo, TX. I was able to pack meat from 1 Whitetail Doe, 1 Whitetail Buck and a Javelina in my 65 and 45 with RTIC ice packs. I drove it in my RV from Laredo, TX to Phoenix, AZ in 3 days and kept my meat cold and fresh until I was able to pack it into my deep freezer. I put alot of trust in the RTIC products and they did not disappoint.
|

65 lost plugs

by

|

Wheels?

by
This product is amazing but does your company realize how many customers check your page everyday waiting for a hard cooler with wheels! 2020 is YOUR year! I believe in RTIC
|

I love this cooler

by
I have the 65qt hard cooler and it hasn’t failed me. We took this on our 16 hour drive from Dallas to Tampico, Mexico. It sat in the bed of my truck under the hot August sun. We had it filled with ice, water, sodas, fruit and some lunch meat. The ice barely melted with the continuous opening and closing of the cooler throughout the trip. From there, we drive another 4-6 hours away and took the cooler along with us to the many waterfalls we visited in San Luis. We had the same ice from Dallas and it lasted us nearly 10 days on our trip. I am very pleased with my cooler.
|

Awesome

by
Unfortunately my 65qt Tan RTIC was stolen but I have nothing but good reviews about the product. I’m a field mechanic so having this cooler during the summer was Definitely a life saver. It kept the ice and drinks very cold all day and that was with the sun beaming on it directly. I’d get to job sites where guys didn’t have waters and it felt good to have something reliable as this RTIC to give out cold drinks. I’d usually have to refill the cooler with ice every 3-4 days and that’s with the sun beaming on it all day everyday. It doesn’t get any better than this cooler here. I haven’t bought another yet because they are expensive but if you ask me I would buy another if I could. If you’re someone who’s debating let me tell you stop and buy yourself this RTIC because it’s worth it and I work with guys that have other brand names coolers and mine outdid them all.

Checked in as luggage

by
Wanted to bring home frozen seafood and poultry from New Orleans so brought this along on my trip. Was successfully checked in at the airport. I removed the handle and rubber feet so they would not get detached. Everything stayed perfect. One minor issue with the cooler is the rubber latches did not seem tight enough, so I used a strap to make sure it would not open. Otherwise I love the cooler.
|

Love!

by
Love my pink 45. I think I need another RTIC tho. My dilemma....a white cooler will not stay white w me, and I don't like the tan or the blue. I wanted to get a larger size in pink! But it only comes in the 45 :/
|

|

Love it

by
Took my 20 out on the can am for the first use. Climbing A steep mountain and get to the top and it’s not there. Go back down the mountain and luckily it’s bright blue there it is nothing spilled out just a little dirty. Needless to say it has come off the side by side 3 times now. Still in awesome shape and still works great. Who needs bear testing just ask my husband to strap it to our side by side to check the durability. Had it for a year now and love it don’t go riding without it
|

Very servicable, durable, and works great

by
We purchased two RTIC 110 quart coolers. The blue one fits nicely in our Honda Pilot. That is for carrying cold grocery items from the store about 30 miles away. It does that job very well, even without ice everything stays cold nicely. The white one fits nicely in our Sequoia for keeping food items such as 20 pound turkeys, four pies, gravy, and left overs cold over long road trips. We also loaded 30 pounds of ice into it; we could have loaded 20 pounds more but didn't need more, 30 pounds lasted very well. We are very pleased with their performance for both jobs. Just back from a three day road trip. There was quite a bit of ice remaining, enough to continue to keep everything cold. Also their construction is at par or better than the competition, at a much more desirable price. Thanks RTIC for perfectly meeting our requirements.

Big boy size

by
I ordered this cooler to take on our camping trips this past summer. First time out I left it in the bed of my pickup under the hard tonneau cover in the middle of the summer full of ice until we got to the campground a few hours away. After that, it sat out in the sun on top of a picnic table all weekend. The ice was about half (with food and 2-12 packs of soda and water) and everything was still ice cold by the time we left. The second time I used it, there were some shady folks around so I put it in the tent with us. Before I bought it, I had looked everywhere for a weight rating on the lid. I wanted to use it as a bench seat in the tent; being 6’4 it’s kinda tough to stand up and get dressed. I figured if it could hold a grizzly bear, it could hold my fat a$$. I sat on that thing and it didn’t even make a sound. I’m 350lbs and was sure it might crack under my crack like a typical cooler would/has/does but nope! I brought it home and left it open in my kitchen to melt and drain into the sink and it took well over a week with the lid open to melt the ice. Very pleased with my purchase of the RTIC 45.

KY Hunting Trip

by
Bought the Grey RTIC 65 for a deer hunting trip with customers a few weeks back. Exceeded expectations because we were off the grid and needed maximum coldness to keep food and beverages cold for 7 days+. The ice was still holding at day 6 and got us through the entire trip without having to drive 30 miles for restocking the coolers with ice. More RTIC products in my future for sure as I am an avid hunter and go off the grid often. Thanks RTIC!
|

Love it!

by
I have used my 20 quart cooler on a five day trip without refueling, and although the ice was melted, the water was still ice cold, and so were my beverages. Great cooler!
|

20 quarts

by
the best ice chest that ever own, ice last long time beer is really cold on summer time plus after over a year i bough it i call to order me a new seal and they send it to me for free thank you RTIC
|

Very pleased!!

by
I bought a 65 qt originally and took it on a 10 day road trip in 90 degree heat. I had a 3lb block of dry ice wrapped in a towel on the bottom and it kept everything frozen till the end. That sold me! I bought the 20 qt. 110 qt and a 145qt that I use when I go to remote Alaska fishing. Everything stays frozen for the 10 days while I'm there. That is without dry ice. Great affordable coolers! They work!

Cooler

by
My husband loves this Cooler, he deer hunts and he keeps the meat in the cooler until he gets back home he loves how he can grain the melted ice, which takes forever to melt, and he wants another one for Christmas. We recommend RTIC for everyone.
|

Don’t need ice

by
I bought a 65. Was disappointed to begin with but this cooler made me a believer. I bought 700 dollars worth of quail , put them in my RTIC 65 with no ice (I forgot). I traveled 9 hrs from Mississippi to south Texas. When I got to my house I panicked. When I opened the cooler to see all the ruined quail , I was surprised to see the packs of quail still had frost on them and were frozen solid. This cooler is the best cooler Iv ever owned. I will be buying the 45 for travel. I love my 65 but I want the 45 for convenience. I also had a cook out with the quail. I filled the cooler up with ice for some cold beverages. 14 days later there was no ice(the ice lasted 10 days)but the water was still very cold (the cooler was in my kitchen). This brand is recommended.

10 Day Road Trip

by
Just finished up a 10 day road trip from Oregon to Death-Saline Valley's and came home with ice. Started out with block ice (I make my own) in an RTIC 65 and 20 and made it back home with some of my original ice pack. Also have a 110 cooler manufactured by the mythical animal brand. All perform well but for the money, can't beat the RTIC over the competition.
|

hard coolera

by
Awesome coolers. We need yall to kick it up another notch by adding wheels on the 65 and larger
|

Love these coolers

by
I recently purchased my second cooler the 65 after previously purchasing the 45. Absolutely love these coolers and how well they perform in the field and while camping. Easily put 3 blocks of ice and a 20lb bag in the 65 and have it last for more than a week still solid. Will probably purchase another in the future!
|

rtic 65

by
Purchased for a 3 day camping trip for 4 adults. Cooler performance was flawless, everything stayed at refrigerator temperature or colder. I would definitely recommend this cooler, great value for the price
|

I'm a believer

by
I begrudgingly bought the RTIC 45 hardcooler because I needed something for a multiple night camping trip with my kids and it seemed like the most economical of the performance-oriented hard coolers. I grabbed one on sale, followed all the pre-prep suggestions found online and, I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. All the food stayed nice and chilled, and the bags of ice I included were still holding their shape (albeit smaller than when they were first put in). When I got home, the ice packs I had included at the bottom of the cooler were lined with a thin layer of frozen water. FYI, the trip was 3 days, 2 nights with an average of 60-70 during the daytime and 40-50 at night, so I'd imagined the environment helped as well (vs. 80-90* weather). I'd highly recommend one of these coolers and be sure to pre-chill cooler a few hours before use (sacrificial bags of ice, water) to maximize performance. I will also say that the pricing may seem steep--growing up I recall my family using Igloo/Playmate or styrofoam coolers that are a fraction of the cost but not nearly as effective. If you get 7-8 uses out of a RTIC, you've already justified the cost effectiveness/value.

Hard 145 qt

by
I have a 45 and a 145 hard cooler. Love them both! During the HOT summer months we head to the lake for a week at at time, There are limited places for purchasing ice that is close. I fill up the 145 qt full and still have ice 7 day later.....even when transferring!!! I recommend these to EVERYONE! BEFORE I used these, we were spending $15/day on ice. $15 day x 7 days = $105/week on ice. we usually went 3 times. $105x3=$315! This cooler paid for itself in 1 year!
|

Awesome Festival Cooler

by
Can't say enough good things about this cooler. I got hard 65 and 30 soft coolers to take to music festivals. Prechilled both on Thursday night with 10# bag ice in each. Added 10# total of ice to soft cooler Fri-Sunday. Put 20# of bagged ice plus 2 frozen 2 liter water bottles in hard cooler on Friday. It is now Tuesday - 4 days later - and there is still ice in the hard cooler. Milk, cheese, chicken, and most importantly BEER and drinks stayed icy cold even through today! I was in and out of the big cooler a couple times each day. I would move beer and drinks to the smaller cooler for each days use. These coolers are worth every penny.

Liz

by
I bought a 20 cooler for my boyfriend and have been so impressed! Everyone comments on it and we both love it. Rtic's customer service has been great as well as I had to do an exchange at first to find the right size. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality & good looking cooler.
|

65,145

by
Own both the 65 and the 145 these coolers are excellent, compared to their competitors which I own one in the 65 they perform just as well if not better and hold more ice, beer, food, or meat. I use them for camping, fishing, and hunting, I spend weeks out in the California high country and I know I never have to worry about keeping my food, drinks or wild game cool and fresh.
|

by
Simply better then the other guys

hard cooler 65

It is just perfect. Love it! Best purchase ever!

65 qt cooler

by
So I bought one of these after a road trip with a Coleman marine cooler needing a small bag of ice every single day on a week long cooler. My friend had an RTIC 45 and did not need any extra ice. I found the winning combo! The RTIC Cooler with the ice packs called Cooler Shock if you've never heard of them look them up I bought the no mess screw top DYI ice packs (just add water and shake it up after twisting the top on) these cooler packs work amazingly well with the RTIC Coolers even the SOFT ONES. In my RTIC soft COOLER 45 I took two SMALL cooler shock packs, two LARGE cooler shock packs, and maybe 2lbs of ice from my freezers ice maker and loaded it with warm drinks for my trip from MD to GA (13.5+ Hours) we left the cooler in the truck over night and delt with it the next day. We not only still had ice the ice packs were still frozen and the drinks were colder than while in my friends fridge. Money well spent! And I'd suggest both a soft and the hard coolers to anyone shopping for a cooler.
|

great cooler

by
I've had my RTIC 45 for over 4 years. I use it a ton and it works great. Just yesterday a big gust of wind blew it off my flat bed pickup while I was doing 83 down the interstate. It tumbled a few times then landed right side up and slid for the rest of the way until it hit the rumble strip then rolled a couple more times before stopping. I'm online now to order new rubber feet for it. Short of that and a few scratches you'd never know it happened. Very durable cooler!!
|

ms

by
I bought this cooler in preparation for future hurricanes. While preparing for hurricane Dorian I froze eight gallon bottles Of water and put them in my cooler. Thankfully Dorian did not hit us with full impact so I didn’t need to put anything else in my cooler. Seven days later the water was still ice cold… It doesn’t get much better than that
|

Great for camping

by
I bought my Rtic 65 for camping and it works great. I was buying 40 pounds of ice everyday with my igloo. I filled up my Rtic when I left my house and 5 days later it doesn't look like hardly anything has melted. I will definitely be buying a couple more.
|

145qt rock

by
The 145qt holds ice for day's and keeps everything cold inside and it open and close every time. And I'm in KAUAI HAWAIl
|

The 20 review

by
I bought the 20 hard cooler just over a year and half ago. I used it last month for the first time and it works great. I cooled it down before I used it put my drinks and ice in it and it kept them ice cold and very little ice was melted. It’s a great cooler. I bought the 45 to keep the things that need to cold or frozen if I’m not going home right away. The 45 hard cooler was at my door a few days early. They are great coolers I bought the 45 when it was on sale.
|

Fabulous

by
I purchased the RTIC 20 for a cross-country trip in August. Loaded up in Arizona, with temps 100+. It fit 8 frozen Power-ade bottles as 'ice', planning on drinking them as they melted. After a 4 day drive (and leaving the cooler in the truck overnight), we arrived in Pennsylvania with the drinks not consumed. They never melted! Still frozen solid when we unpacked on the 5th day of use.
|

Ice cream

by
With a couple of bucks of dry ice I transported ice cream from NY to Chicago (12+ hours), and the ice cream was harder than when I left.
|

Awsome

by
I wish we needed to use this cooler more often! We brought 40lbs of Haddock home from Nova Scotia, using frozen water bottles for ice and the bottles were still frozen 4 days later. We had a party on Friday, threw a couple of bags into the cooler (warm) and the following Wednesday we still had ice! Hard to beat that 😁 Plus we love the sea foam colour.
|

Special Edition

by
I got a special edition Arctic 110 in Olive Drab Green. I also bought the 45 in OD green as a birthday present for my son. Everyone that sees this color wants one. You should do it regularly.
|

Bear Tested

by
I was camping a month ago in northern Vermont. Left the campsite mid afternoon to hit some breweries. You have to, It's the craft beer capital. Every time I leave I always lock it closed and to something sturdy. A tree or picnic table always works. When I arrived back later that night, The full cooler was flipped, covered in slobber and hair, but the bear did not get in. With only minor scratches and one or two bigger gouges, it was completely fine. Other than having to clear bear slobber, nothing was wrong. No beers or bears where harmed. Five stars!
|

Badness

by
Great cooler! I researched and ended up buying the RTIC 65 and have zero regrets. Delivery was super fast! Got the cooler put 3 drinks and 4 little frozen ice things in it and nothing else, over night. Drinks stayed cool and ice things stayed frozen even when the cooler started hot!
|

Outstanding Cooler

by
I bought the RTIC 20 shortly after they were introduced years ago to see if I liked the product before buying other sizes. I was extremely impressed with the quality and price. Since then I have purchased the 65 and 145. I use them for hunting, fishing and catering. No problem to fit a 120 lb pig in the 145 with ice. I highly recommend this product.
|

a good cooler

by
It's a real good cooler I love it
|

well worth it

by
I bought my 45 a couple years ago. Best cooler I ever bought. It keeps ice all day day on the beach with me and kids going in and out of it. It will keep ice for three or four if we leave it in house. Oh yeah, it doesn’t break or fall apart. Love the fact that it’s a seat too, really comes in handy.
|

Useful!

by
Love my 65. When I go to the supermarket I keep the 65 in the truck bed secured with a thick steel cable padlocked to a bed tiedown, and anything I buy that needs to stay cold is fine even if I make a stop on the way home. It’s part of my hurricane kit, I can fill it with ice at work to keep food and dairy safe with no power. I want to get a 145 for my hurricane kit next!
|

Flawless

by
Our RTIC 65 worked flawlessly on a recent beach trip. We returned home with what was left of the beer and redfish, both ice cold. Keep up the good work RTIC!
|

Perfect size

by
Its just the right size for a overnite stay in the woods.
|

Great Cooler

by
Great cooler and priced well below the competition. Thank for the awesome cooler RTIC. Customer for Life.
|

Great for hunting

by
I bought my 145 Because of how well my hunting buddies worked and I love it. Last year I fit and entire quartered elk in it with ice. The meat cooled quickly and the ice lasted for days while I took my time butchering one quarter at a time. I would strongly recommend this cooler for any big game hunter and especially if you hunt any early season.
|

65 cooler

by
I love my cooler I’d love it more if it was on wheels.
|

Great for Camping

by
We recently took this cooler with us to the Smokey Mountains. I filled up the cooler with all of our food and Ice on Monday and put it in the back of our vehicle since we were leaving early Tuesday Morning. We did get in and out of the cooler for meals for the next several days and it still did very well at keeping everything iced. We unpacked it on Thursday at the cabin and the meat that I had brought with us was still frozen. We had brought a smaller Coleman cooler for drinks and had to fill it up with ice every night and morning. We are very impressed with this cooler and definitely recommend it to anyone.

Couldn't ask for more

by
45 qt hard cooler. I am beyond happy with the purchase. for 3.5 days this thing sat in the back of my car(hatchback so lots of sun on it) directly in the sun on the hottest weekend we've had all summer. I was camping so the cooler had to be locked away from animals and anyone who might want a free cooler... 3.5 days it sat in the car with average outside temp being 85-90 and inside car temp exceeding 100 degrees easily. By the end of the trip I may have only lost about 1/6 or so of the ice I had. A gallon of water I had frozen in the bottom of the cooler hadn't even melted enough to make a full sip of water. For 3 or 4 more days after the trip it sat in my garage not sweltering in there but about 80 or so and when I finally took the gallon out there was still a good chunk frozen in it. Only downside I have is weight, so if you are worried about your payload ( i am not) and you aren't worried about ice retention then a cheaper cooler may work for you.. I however don't care about weight and i'd rather have the high quality that comes with this cooler. All in all well worth the buy! I am looking to get the 20 qt hard cooler for shorter trips as well as the 8 can soft pack for a lunch box. I have a couple of their bottles and tumblers and have never been disappointed.
|

money saver

by
I bought the 20 quart use 10 pound bag of ice and a freezer block with drinks and lunch for the whole week. The ice has lasted 5-6 days 90+ degrees outside with the cooler staying in the bed of the work truck and on our Gomaco concrete paver. Well worth buying since I had a 30 quart igloo that would eat 10 pounds of ice and the freezer block every day
|

Bull Moose Approved!!!

by
Cooler will fit an entire processed Newfoundland Moose!!! Kept it froze from Deer Lake, Newfoundland to Morgantown, WV... over 30 hours of travel and it was still froze. Built like a tank, very good price, just an awesome cooler.
|

Patrick Yacques

by
Built like a brick shit house and the claims of keeping ice cold for days is no lie. We have 3 of them. One for the car, one for the boat, and one for a small picnic.
|

Great for hunting

by
These coolers are built like a tank. I have 2 145's for early season archery elk hunting. When the temps are really warm, these are a necessity to cool the meat down fast. With both coolers in the bed of my truck, I can fit a quartered bull elk easily. The hind quarters may have to be partially deboned since they are so long, but everything fits perfectly with plenty of ice. With this set up, I can change out frozen 2 liter bottles as needed and butcher the animal a little bit at a time over a week or so.
|

Solid cooler, great price

by
Spent a lot of time looking at the plenty of rotomolded coolers on the market because I was tired of having all of my stuff melt in the big box cheapo coolers. RTIC had an excellent price point and simple design, not too many parts that could fail. It’s held up well over the first few uses I’ve had. No surprise there, honestly. The only thing I would add to this cooler is some built in bottle opener, but it’s not a major inconvenience to carry and account for a separate one. Solid cooler overall, will consider getting a larger version if the need arises. Blue color is excellent.

I buy the tumblers by the case to give to customers and decided i wanted a cooler. I was hesitant to spend the $$$ at 1st but glad I did. The amount i will save on ice in a year will pay for the cooler easily!!

great hard sided cooler

We love the RTIC products. This 45 works great.

Must Buy

by
The 110 is a great cooler and just as advertised! Got mine a little over a month ago and love it! It’s a beast and it’s harder keeping drinks in it than ice as good as it works. If you’re looking for a great cooler at an even greater price, look no further

YES

by
Using it as I write this. Bought the 65 for vaca. Initially was planning on purchasing ‘the other brand’, then did some homework. Good choice! Pre-chilled it slightly with ice packs. Obviously just enough to chill. Packed it up night before leaving (Friday nite, leaving Saturday morn) with the promise of it holding the ice longer than an ordinary ice chest. Traveled to NC Beach 12 hrs. packed with multiple items (frozen hamburgers and drinks for the road, eggs on top, etc. I did not add a ton of ice either.) Opening it up occasionally for a soda along the way. Didn’t unpack it til Sunday nite. So that was 2 whole days. Burgers were ever so slightly thawed and the ice that had melted around the burger packs froze them together. I’d say it did it’s job! After unpacking, left the drinks in what ice and water was there, eventually emptying the water and adding more ice. Using it to keep drinks in as to cluttering fridge. It has impressed us enough to order the 45, and a soft 20 for work. Can’t wait to see how well the soft cooler works. Before ordering: FYI.... Keep in mind, the amount of room you have in your vehicle. And it is slightly heavy empty. You do Need 2 people to lift it around. For these reasons we are purchasing the smaller one too. Highly recommend.

Quality, Value, Performance

by
Just purchased my second RTIC hard cooler. Plan to use the 20 for in car travel use for our long drives while the 65 is used to pack perishables. RTIC coolers simply can not be beat for overall quality, and this product represents the absolute best in terms of value for money spent. I am simply astounded by the performance of RTIC coolers in terms of ice retention. Don't waste your hard earned money with other more costly brands.

6 days a week

by
I use this cooler for a landscaping job. It's it's in the back of the truck with a black bed liner. I live and work in Eastern Washington and even in the 90s only using inexpensive blue ice packs with no real ice it does an excellent job of keeping my grub cold. THANKS RTIC

LOVE RTIC

by
I have the tan 65 and the seafoam 20. The 65 is great for long roadtrips. In the hot car in Texas summer heat, my ice lasted over 48 hours, just needing to be topped off every other day. I use the 20 for day trips and for carrying around at events. I bought my sister the tote, she is a mom and 3rd grade teacher and she loves it. Mom's and teacher carry a lot of stuff and it's the first bag big enough and tough enough to hold all of her stuff.
|

Great Cooler

by
I love my 45, great cooler! Thinking about buying a 65!!! Wish there was a dark gray 65 on wheels with a handle!!!
|

1st test

by
First real test using this cooler. 3 day camping trip 2 bags of ice and a few frozen water bottles. Day 4 back home after opening and closing dozens of times plenty of ice left and the water bottles are still partly frozen. Well worth the money would of had to boat to the truck and drive 30+ miles for ice. Average temperature was 70-80 degrees.
|

Tough Cooler

by
Working out of a delivery truck this cooler had high expectations from the beginning. I keep it in the back where temperatures can get to/or above 130 degrees. It holds ice all day when its that hot and 3-4 days in the spring and fall. It gets beat up but holds it's own as I have had it years now and all still original hardware. It's a sturdy step when trying to get to higher places in the truck when needed as well. Took it on a week long vacation where it was 55-60 degrees and only had to add ice twice due to the fact we added room temperature drinks as needed all week. Solid cooler but before buying consider the fact this is good as a day cooler and if you need space you need a bigger cooler. Rtic has impressed me overall with this cooler and other drinkware, I'd recommend to anyone.
|

cooler

by
Not sure about the 10 days of holding ice but very well built cooler. Went on a 6 day trip to Tennessee on day 5 we did add ice after putting a case of warm bottled water in there was ice left but melted pretty fast after adding the water. It was under the tonneau cover in bed of pick up in 80 degree weather.
|

Hot or Cold

by
I have two of these and when we travel I use one to keep the drinks cold and one to keep the food hot. Both work great.

Best Hard Cooler

by
RTIC Hard Coolers are the best for the money spent. I've bought several for work and play. I have some color suggestions. Cream-Sickle - Light Orange outside, white inside. Key-Lime - Light Minty Green Outside, White Inside You should also have darker, night time, party coolers. Because your party is on the deck and you don't want your guests in and out of the fridge.. and you want to avoid putting drinks in your fish cooler. Dark Cherry Red Dark Forest Green Deep Royal Purple Deep Ocean Blue

Awesome Value

by
I bought my RTIC 45 2 years ago. It has been the best cooler I have ever owned. It will keep ice for days. Awesome product at an awesome price.
|

williams

by
This is the best cooler. We have had it going on 3 years. We have another cooler with a different brand that was more expensive and u can’t tell the difference between them. We have had ice and drinks on the deck in full sun for 4 straight days and it did not disappoint. We cook and freeze our food and before our trips we put the food in the cooler. After 3 days food still frozen.
|

good BUT

by
These are great coolers if you can keep low life’s from stealing them. Wish Rtic would come up with something economical to either stamp or mold owners name across the top. I have considered light heat to melt name into it. Too afraid too try it. Cables are joke. BIG Chain and American lock on both ends. Then camera to take pic of the people trying to steal it! Come on Rtic. Help!

this hard cooler is great no complaints at all

Hard to beat

by
I rarely go anywhere without this cooler in my truck. I’ve had it for 2 years and it’s easily the best cooler I’ve owned. Holds ice great and is tough as nails (mine literally fell out of the bed of the truck while i was driving down the road!). You can’t go wrong with rtic

Great product!

by
After spending months reading reviews and researching the available options on the market, I decided that RTIC had the right balance of value, reputation and quality. I intended for this cooler to replace an old Igloo that got smashed to pieces by some wild horses on the Assateague Island, so I knew this time around I needed something that could withstand more abuse. As someone who camps and travels frequently, my main concerns were regarding ice retention and durability. I placed my order for a hard shell 45 and added a divider, a dry basket, and a couple metal tie down brackets that double as bottle openers. I was skeptical about the shipping time as I had heard stories of people waiting several months to receive their coolers. Well, I received my cooler with all of its accessories in less than a week and I was very impressed with the build quality upon arrival. After adorning the exterior with some brewery and park stickers, I promptly filled it with food and beer and took it for its first excursion to Aspen, CO where it held ice for the full manufacturer spec of five days! Granted the Colorado Rockies aren’t the warmest place in April, but at several afternoons reaching the 60s, there is no way my old Igloo would have retained ice for that long. I also have to compliment RTIC for having a great web based store with plenty of replacement cooler parts in case something does break in the future. This inspired confidence in the company when placing my initial order. I plan to return to RTIC for all of my cooler and beverage needs going forward. If I had to give a final word of advice to RTIC, it’s to invest in producing some marine-grade cooler mats that adhere to the lids to create a more comfortable seat. There are several of second party manufacturers for these, but I would rather stick with an RTIC-made product if available.

Gray 145

by
I consider myself as a RTIC ambassador as I own just about all of the products they have . I tell everyone who will listen about how great and economical RTIC products are. I had been wanting a 110 and 145 qt cooler and had considered the overpriced competition. Only thing that kept me from doing it was the cost. Finally RTIC released them and I bought a Gray 145 back around the Christmas sale . When it arrived it had some minor shipping damage. A quick email with some pics and RTIC stepped up and made it good . Probably the best CS in the business. My Gray 145 is one of the best looking coolers I've owned. So far it's done exactly as advertised. Keep it up RTIC, yall will continue to get my heard earned $$$$.
|

RTIC 110

by
I own several other Rtic products and have used, abused and loved them all. The 110 is the most recent to be used. I just got back from a weekend turkey hunt with my sons and we had it completely loaded with drinks, meat and all of our other perishables that needed to be kept cold. Two bags of ice was all it needed and that was more than enough. We were able to put one dead turkey in there too. Most the ice was still frozen when we got home and the drinks were obviously still very cold. Great product for sure. Now... I'll buy the 145!
|

best cooler for $$

by
Finally bought the Blue 110! Great size and value for the price. This one serves as the backyard cooler for family gatherings and storage out in the middle of nowhere. Great size - you may need a spotter to move it when it is full - otherwise it is manageable for one person to move it. Great Product!
|

Best cooler on the market

by
Well what can I say about rtic coolers, tumbler, mugs etc. They are hands down the best. I have (2) 65's, (4) 45's, the 20, soft sided, and a plethora of tumblers, mugs and bottles. I use the hunting, my construction company and just daily use. The ice retention in these coolers can not be out done. Everyone complains about the weight, but I highly doubt that they could hold ice or be as rugged if they were made skimmpy. I use these coolers, and I do mean use these coolers and you just cannot beat them period. I am die hard rtic forever, there just isn't another product of this category on the market.
|

110

by
I have the 40 soft cooler, the 45, 65, and 110 hard coolers and I do believe the 110 is my favorite. Plenty of room for your water and groceries for a weekend at the deer lease. I usually put 48 lbs of ice in it on Friday and Sunday when I get home, still has plenty left. I love RTIC products. I also have over a dozen tumblers and 2 beach chairs.
|

The best of the best

by
RTIC has been really good to me. The cups are great and the coolers are even greater. RTIC never disappoints. 10/10 recommend, definitely.
|

110

by
Bought the 110 and left Alabama for South Texas. Back home after 6 days and only added 10lbs ice the entire trip.
|

65q

by
I have the blue one I absolutely love It great cooler
|

Mountain men

by
We got a 65 cooler to start with and loved it. The only thing was is that it was two small. Then we ordered the 145 which we really like. We also own a soft cooler and love it for day trips. Will only buy RTIC from now on. Thanks for making a great product.
|

great cooler

by
I received the cooler last week loaded it with 60 bud lights and 3 bags of ice. Beer started running low but plenty of ice for a few more cases.
|

Great value

by
I own a 45 and 65 and both have been great coolers.
|

poor handle

by
great cooler keep things cold all weekend. loaded it up to take to car the handle snapped on the every first time
|

Great investment

by
I bought this cooler about a year ago when I worked mostly outdoors. I filled it up about 3/4 of the way with ice and the rest with lunch for 3 guys, water bottles and a couple sports drinks. They all fit perfectly! I never got a full 10 days worth of ice with it but I went about 3-4 days with ice/cold water in it. Going off road the majority of shift, there were no leaks and no damage done to the cooler! All this while the cooler was in an open pickup bed! I would definitely purchase again.
|

Awesome

by
I bought one to take to Big Bend Ranch State Park. The campsite was very remote and I didn't want to run out of ice. I loaded the cooler to the top with ice, food, drinks and about a week later--well after my 4 days in the park, I finally emptied out about 7 lbs worth of leftover ice. I couldn't be happier! About to order one for my father in law.
|

by
Amazing product. Very satisfied.
|

Best Cooler

by
I purchased the RT65 cooler and used it during Fall hunting last season. The cooler kept every thing cold during the 9 day hunt. This cooler is heavy, but well worth it, if it can keep meat cold for 9 days. I only put ice in the cooler the day I took off for hunting. The ice did not melt at all. Great price and quality built. I am ordering a 20 to keep the pop and juice cold.
|

Rtic 65

by
Absolutely the best cooler I have ever owned. It does keep Ice for 10 day's, we also have a day cooler and plan on buying a soft side cooler to carry into Nascar races. The day cooler we use alot to bring frozen food from the grocery store.
|

Best Cooler i have ever owned

by
No joke the RTIC 65 is the best cooler I have ever owned. I have had many different brands in the past. But the RTIC 65 has exceeded my expectations for superior quality, fit and finish, and dependability. Keeps ice for a long even on the hottest days at the river.
|

great cooler

by
i bought a rtic 65 two years ago and i am so impressed with this cooler, we camp almost every weekend in the summer here in Montana , i use blocks of ice in my cooler and am able to use the same blocks for weeks , toss them back in the freezer when we get home and back in the cooler on Friday . only complaint is when its full of ice and beer its heavy . i need a rtic 45 also
|

dependable

by
Got my 65 in tan over a year ago and besides scratches from a dirt bike i had in the bed its still perfect. Holds ice so well i took the plunge and bought a 145 as well. Hands down my favorite cooler for the money
|

Fantastic Product

by
I have had the 65 cooler for a few years now. It is a wonderful product that performs as rated. The quality and construction are excellent and I would recommend RTIC products to anyone.
|

great cooler

by
Good cooler holds ice well only problem was in 115 degrees in Arizona.the lid warped about a 1/4 inch or so.but once ice was emptied out and sat in garage went back to normal.
|

Too Small

by
I bought the 20 for myself when I was going to have shoulder surgery to meal prep my food since I had to recover at my parents place. It was too small to fit 2 days worth of food in there. That was the bit down fall for me. Its a lot smaller inside then it looks on the outside. Other then that it works well and keeps my things cold.
|

Quality

by
Great cooler. Only downside is very heavy
|

coolers

by
The best coolers around for the price . I have 5 rtic coolers now. Just got my son inlaw one for his birthday.
|

Beckman

by
Makes the trip with me every year for Texas deer hunt. Drive home with three boned out deer and a bag of ice. Works just like a fridge.
|

rtic 20

by
Have had one for two years that I keep in my semi truck for bottled water! Block ice will keep for six days in the summer and nine days in the winter and this includes opening maybe four times a day! Just as good as that “Y” model at half the price!
|

1 year review

by
I’ve had my 65’r for a year now and it hasn’t disappointed me once. It has kept food and drinks cold and fresh time and time again. Held up to a beating in the back of my truck or out in the elements. Would highly recommend!
|

65 blue cooler

by
Awesome cooler. Went on a 6 day trip in the back country, in 80 degrees heat, everything stayed cold, and there was a little bit of ice left when we came home!!!!!! Will buy another one!!!!!
|

45 qt review

by
I recently put my new 45qt to use for a trial run before summer. It worked great...maybe a little too good. I put some soda and Gatorade in with a couple of bags of ice and 6 hours later my beverages were frozen solid. First time I have had that happen. Zero ice melt in 12 hours. The only semi negative thing I have noticed is quality control on the logo sticker on the front is not on straight (quarter inch over a5 inch sticker) is very noticeable. Other than that seems to be a great product.
|

Rtic 20

by
I just got the blue 20 it's perfect for my job I also have several of the 30oz tumblers and coffee cups and love them also keeps my coffee hot for hours
|

Works both ways

by
You dont really ever think of using a cooler to keep things from freezing. I've been working up in Wyoming for the last three months and I can keep cases of water for a few days in my RTIC-45 .when before the water would be frozen solid overnight when left in the truck
|

Best cooler

by
I bought it in sea foam green cause my daughter got to pick the color. First time I used it was for a camping trip in Florida mild October weekend 87 degrees or so and kids opened and closed all weekend grabbing drinks and food. I only put 30 pounds of Ice four twelve packs of drinks a gallon of milk and some deli meats and cheeses also filled the basket with condiments. all I can say I Wow. it performed very well still had most of ice by Sunday and I was very impressed. Cause when I mean the kids were open and closing and leaving open at times for long periods most coolers would have turned to water not my RTIC. Cons very heavy when full need a wheel kit that’s next. Going to buy the 45 for solo hunting and fishing trips as soon as I can. Would definitely recommend I have a 20 from the competition and I truly believe that RTIC is a superior product and also very fairly priced. Thanks RTIC your my brand and I will be a loyal customer from now on!
|

65 cooler

by
Great price. Holds ice for longer than 10 days. Good stuff
|

Awesome cooler

by
Have had the 45 for about three years and for the money it’s the best cooler on the market, I have the hard and soft coolers as well as tumblers.
|

Mr

by
Can’t say enough about this cooler. Bought this along with a 45... both are incredible. You will not be disappointed.
|

Rtic decal

by
My cooler is nice except for two things. It attracts dog hair and the rtic decal is not centered on the front. Its slanted a little as well to the right a little. And having two inside dogs and the cooler inside until I need it doesn't mix.
|

Love this thing!

by
This 65qt tan ice chest is awesome. Looks great and usually holds my ice for a week. I highly recommend this product!! My only complaint is it is pretty heavy. That being said, it really does its job. For the price you can not beat it! I got mine on sale too.
|

Mr

by
I never leave reviews but feel compelled here. This cooler is absolutely awesome...you will not be disappointed. Fit and finish is great... just like much high priced comparables.
|

Artic 45 & 65

by
Just bought 65 because RTIC supports NRA. Thank you! Bought the 45 a few years ago and loved everything about it! Stays cold long time on Baja adventures. Needed more capacity for longer trips & boating.
|

Outstanding Cooler

by
Just got my seafoam cooler that was on sale and I cannot say enough about the quality and its ability to hold ice. This was the Best Purchase I have made in a very long time!
|

Excellent Cooler & Even Better Customer Service

by
I recently ordered my new RTIC 145 during the clearance sale. It arrived very slightly damaged so I emailed customer service. They readily gave me the option to exchange it at no cost or keep it with 20% refunded back to me. I decided to keep it as it was only a very small blemish on the corner from shipping. Very pleased with the customer service as well as the cooler. I haven't gotten to use it yet but it is very well built. For anyone looking to use it for hunting and fishing, it will be plenty big! Thanks RTIC!
|

Olive Green 45

by
Just got my second 45 in an Olive Green, and love it. The best cooler for the best prices!
|

Nice Cooler

by
I've had my RTIC 45 for almost a year. It's a strong and cool cooler. I like the accessories I added two racks and a divider makes it versatile. I can't say it keeps ice any longer than my old Coleman cooler, but I do like it a lot and looking to buy a soft sided RTIC when I see a good deal on one.
|

Awesome

by
I have had the RTIC 45 for about 3 years now. Love this cooler. I promise, if you've ever wanted a ******, but couldn't afford it "like me", then give this cooler a try. Only thing different is the name.
|

Cooler

by
I Own a 65 and 145 and woudnt spend my money on anything else
|

Love it

by
Awesome cooler. Got a 65 qt put in drinks and cold food loaded ice and it keeps all week. I had to throw out ice after I got home at the end of the week and it was still cold. I’ve never had better and I don’t plan on changing at any point in time. In fact I’m looking to buy a few more.
|

Buy it!

by
Bought the 45 for hauling my deer meat, I set it on the floor next to the deep freeze at my moms house in St. Louis MO. opened the lid, opened the deep freeze and started loading it up with frozen deer meat, when full, I closed the lid and put it in the back of my truck. I live in Palm Beach Gardens FL. That afternoon, I headed for Florida, took my time and played around in Blue Springs swimming, camped out, at the end of the trip the meat was in the cooler for 2.5 days, I didn't use any ice or anything, never opened the lid ever. when I got home, I opened it, to put the meat in my freezer, and the meat was frozen solid as a rock, like it had never left my mothers freezer, no liquid, no soft meat, frozen solid!!! NO BULLSH**! I might add that it is quite warm where I live,,,, BUY IT!
|

Love them

by
I have 3 hard side and 2 soft side coolers. I absolutely love these coolers!
|

by
RTIC 45 initial thoughts. Survived shipping just fine. The 45 is a hefty solid cooler with pretty decent construction. The drain plugs (2) both fit snuggly and both had gaskets with them. The rubber lid T-Latches are a little too loose and easily pull away. I took a very bright flashlight and shined the cooler walls in a dark room and noticed light penetrating through the walls in a few areas which to me indicates very thin or no insulation in some areas of the cooler walls. I will update this review later this summer on how well it keeps its cool.
|

Love it!

by
This cooler is fantastic. It is large enough to two cleaned and quartered hogs. Will write an updated review after I have it iced for more than a day or two.
|

Delayed Shipping

by
The overall cooler (although I haven't used it yet) looks durable and for the price looks like quality item. However, the shipping and customer service is lacking. It took 15+ days for this cooler to arrive at my doorstep. I got shipping notification 7 days after purchase and would have expected the item within a few days ... nope it took an additional 8 days for it to arrive via Fedex. I did reach out to RTIC and they didn't really seem to care. Overall the products are quality but the service is sub-par at best. I've ordered several different items from this company (multiple tumblers (love these), soft pack cooler, smaller hard cooler) so it's a shame they don't prioritize their service.
|

Amazing cooler

by
Got my white 65 when they went on sale a few weeks ago. What a cooler! After pricing all the other brands, I just refused to pay that kind of Money for a cooler. Then the RTIC went on sale...at an unbelievable price. I bought a 145 as well. Used my 65 yesterday...after 14 hours the ice had not even melted! Thanks for a great deal RTIC!
|

Impressive life long cooler

by
I bought this cooler for processing and hauling deer and man its impressive. Amazingly well built and with the features of other big name coolers for far less money. I will be buying more.
|

Great Cooler... the Best Value

by
I received the 110 cooler as a gift and am in complete love with the cooler. We use it on the boat for multi day Bahamas fishing trips to keep our perishable food cool without the need for adding additional ice every day. We also use it for multi day camping trips and the little blue ice blocks keep everything cool in the Florida sunshine and heat. Great cooler ... unbeatable value.
|

Awesome cooler

by
Bought this cooler as an ice holder for my fish box on my charter boat....amazing construction and holds ice for days even in the blazing sun. I did my homework and you will not find a cooler that will even come close for the money. Comparable brands run over $500.
|

perfect cooler

by
Great cooler for the price. This thing is absolutley a work horse! Built very well.
|

You didnt post my last review

by
So I guess a review that isnt 5 stars doesnt get posted. I feel the 2 145 coolers we were sent were scratch and dent. So im sure this wont get posted either.
|

Loyal to RTIC butConcerned

by
I have been buying the RTIC product for a while now for personal use, business use and lots of gifts for special people in my life. I own 10 30 oz Tumblers , 1 White 65, 1Blue 45, 1 Blue 110, and just got 2 Blue 145's Yesterday. I am concerned because I could swear these were scratch and dent or didnt make the cut. Color is off, scrapes and a knife gash in the other. Looking at the box they came in no signs of them being thrown around at all. I want to buy more but if this is what I will be getting I will stop here. These coolers keep my food and fish on trips safe and super cold and I use them religiously. I love the product but I like to buy impecable products and take very good care of all my stuff. Hopefully this has not happened to anyone else. Capt. Johnny Martinez

FANTASTIC RTIC 45

I have put it to the test in many elements and conditions (all my gear) and has stood up. RTIC TEAM Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
|

SOLID

by
It's a beast @ almost 50lbs for weight, but you cannot argue the quality of this product. Take it camping for 4 days & even with continuous opening, it still keeps everything cold.
|

110 Grey Perfect

by
Bought the 110 Grey during the Christmas Sale for $220.99 (35% OFF) Perfect size and color for my BBQ trailer. I have a 45, 65, and now the 110. Collection is complete.
|

Best choice

by
I was “pressures” by a good friend to by one, hate to admit it but he was right. This is probably the best cooler I’ve ever had, quality unbeatable and very versatile.
|

Best Bang for your buck

by
Second Rtic 65 I’ve purchased in last year. These coolers hold ice for 5-6 days in the warm late Summer- early Fall days when I’m hunting and fishing in Eastern NC. Sits solidly in back of my truck when I’m in and out of the old logging roads I travel. It is a little heavier than some but the price difference makes up for it.
|

Love it

by
This cooler is everything you want and need in a cooler. Much cheaper than the competition as well without lacking in integrity.
|

Awesome!

by
I was skeptical before purchasing but after I received it, not anymore. Very well built. It will last forever. Excellent choice buying the 110. Stop thinking about it buy it!
|

The best

by
This cooler is more than I ever thought I needed. I bought a 65, and has plenty of room for my family on extended camping trips. It’s always cold. Also customer service is top notch. They are attentive and took care of me better than I expected. I will never buy cooler that isn’t RTIC.

RTIC 20 - Tan

by
Absolutely fantastic! RTIC coolers are the best for retaining ice and keeping contents safe. We have two 20's, a 45,a 20 soft cooler, thermo bottles and mugs...ALL are great!! Just bought another 45 as a gift for a special someone who will be so excited! As far as delivery on my last purchase I was blown away...arrived the very next day! WOW RTIC!!
|

145 TAN

by
I purchased the cooler and have all but the 110 which i will probably get soon. 145 has tons of space it can be like a buffet with the dividers installed. it is heavy without anything so make sure it is where it is going before filling it. Only issue i had from the cooler is that we left it in the sun which one would think that would be okay however the top will warp therefore breaking the seal and the ice melts. Learned quickly that it cannot be left in direct sunlight in Texas. after cooling off the lid molds back into the shape and no issues. Not sure what the solution would be from a design standpoint but that is the only issue we had. Still a happy RTIC customer and would buy all of there products.

Ramon

by
Bought a tan 45 and 65 for my boat last year. Love them. Hold ice very well, all weekend long. Moved 65 over to my work truck and just bought a grey 110 for boat. Only down side is i wish i could get the tan to match. But at these prices I'm not even upset about it.

RTIC 110 and wife's 45

by
I'm a Transamerica pipeliner ...at times I literally live from my cooler .....I've owned 2 other coolers they as well are spelled with four letters and their mascot is a big hairy critter ...compared to RTIC ...their coolers suck ...they can't come close to comparing with an RTIC ....I'm able to keep ice 3--6 days longer than the other big name way over priced cooler was able to ...this is not a paid endorsement ...this is an honest no bullshit testimonial from a man that uses a cooler far more than they were meant to be used ...when I'm on the road 10-11 months a year and in heat from 80-100 degrees I can trust my RTIC TO DO ITS JOB!!!...and trust this ...it does it far superior to any other cooler on the market...bar none ! ..thanks and RTIC ON ...Jim Evans ...Pittsford,Mi.

RTIC 65

by
I have been looking at different coolers for a while. I made the decision and purchased a 65 in Blue. This cooler is awesome. We camped for 5 days during Thanksgiving. The cooler retained almost all of the ice for the entire trip to the point I poured ice out on Sunday afternoon when we were cleaning everything up.

Can't Be Beat

by
Last weekend (it was in the 70's to mid 80's) my wife and I took a semi-primitive camping/ATV trip for 4 days (I was in my Toy Hauler but had no power (excpt the generator which we seldom ran) or running water) All beers were cold before being loaded into the coolers and the coolers were pre-chilled. Started on Tuesday night with loading my Pelican 20 with 15 Miller Lites and 6 Mich Ultras and 10 pounds of ice (I make my own ice), put two 10 pound bags in the camper freezer. On Wednesday morning at 11am In the RTIC 20 I loaded 23 Mich Ultras and 10 pounds of ice. In the RTIC 65 I loaded 72 Miller lites, 1 Mich Ultra and 20 pounds of ice. For y'all counting I did bring back 43 Miller Lites and 9 Mich Ultras. So the trip begins on Wednesday at 11am with an 83 mile drive. Lets just cut to the chase. I only had to add 10 pounds of ice for the rest of the trip. That was into the Pelican which is strapped onto the ATV and is accessed many times daily.

72 Cans 20 pounds of Ice

72 can and 20 pounds of ice will last for 5 days.

Good cooler

by
Purchasing and shipping went well. Cooler is very nice. I've put a 20lbs bag of ice on Sunday morning and there was still a handful left in Wednesday morning when I removed it from the boat. Daytime temperatures were in low 80s and nights were down in 60s. It was in the sun for about half a day. It's a sturdy cooler that stays put on the boat deck. I like it. Basket could be twice as deep or at least they should offer one that's deeper on this size cooler. It barely fits four sandwiches. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the purchase

Rtic 45 cooler

by
I got my 45 cooler a few days ago and it does work well however as soon as I took it out of the box one of the stickers was already coming off for the money you pay for these things you would think Itvwould not come off without being use yet .
|

Awesome

by
Bought mine over a year ago, used it mainly when remodeling my out of town home, filled the cooler up on Thursday and did not have to put ice in until the following Friday, still had ice in it, but wanted to top it off . Well worth the money
|

Excellent Cooler

by
I have had my RTIC 20 for five weeks now and it has performed flawlessly. I also have a 45 and 65. All are highly recommended.

RTIC 65 shipping

Why does the grey 45qt cost more than the other colors

by
Why does the grey 45qt cooler cost more than the other 45qt coolers?
|

Coolest of coolers.

by
I like all the room I have plus the basket that fits in so nicely to keep my food separate from my drinks.I also added lights for effect. Keeps my ice for over a week Can even get a devider for it.
|

Cool cooler

by
Cool cooler The best color I’ve had for a long time. Keeps ice Frozen along with your food for extended trips. Highly recommend it five star . well price $$ . 👍🏼
|

Great in the Mountains

by
I have used these hard size coolers for the last 2 summers in the Colorado mountains above 9000 feet evevation. They work great, keep ice blocks for 4 days with no issues. I put them in the truck each evening so do not have any experience with bears or other critters getting into them. I am looking at the soft side coolers for our fishing boots. Been very satified.
|

by
I purchased the 65 qt cooler yesterday and was delivered today, yes I live in Texas. Within an hour of placing my order, I received an email confirming my order was picked and ready to ship. Opened the box and the cooler is more than I expected. It will get its first use Thankgiving weekend as we are off camping tomorrow.
|

Wheels

by
Need a version with wheels. Otherwise it’s a great cooler.
|

110

by
This thing holds ice just as advertised! I’ve used 3 times on 5 day long camping trips and still have ice at the end. The only thing I have against it is how heavy it is once you get your stuff in it but I expected that.
|

Restock

by
When will there be more available?
|

Wont keep ice

by
My cooler will not keep ice Beyond 5 days it turns to pure water I purchased a cooler from Walmart for one half the money that will keep the ice for 8 days
|

Oilfield fun!

by
I have this cooler and it. Rocks in every way! Fits perfect on the seat of my truck, in the back or in the pack wagon with the family. It’s super durable and holds that ice for days & days on end even in the hot south Texas weather in the constant sun. Can’t beat the price and quality!!!
|

Best Line of Ice Chests Available

by
Have had this product for close to 3 years now, and all I can say, is that it has performed the exact same way since I purchased it. No matter if keeping stuff ice cold, or even letting smoked meats wrapped in foil and towels set. They are as hot as they were coming off the smoker.
|

Ms

by
I received one of these from my kids for Mother's day. After my first use, I ordered a soft pack. These are so well worth their cost. They will pay for themselves after just a few uses.

Making Coolers Great Again

by
I was skeptical at first, thinking that no cooler is worth that kind of money, but I bought a tan 65 on sale a few years ago. After just a couple hunting and fishing trips I was very impressed. I now have two 65's and a 20, and probably won't have to ever buy another cooler! Great product that works, is made to last and built in the U.S.A.!
|

excellent

by
bought this cooler for camping took it filled with ice and went camping for the weekend. held ice for an additiona 4 days after the camping trip was over with. ordering a second one soon to carry on my 4 wheeler
|

Excellent

by
I purchased this cooler at Christmas 2017. It performs exactly the same as my ******, but at a better price. I have enjoyed it fully. No complaints. It's so good, that I just ordered a 145. Watch for the sale and get a great price with free shipping.
|

5 stars

by
I have the 20 and the 45 and couldn’t be more happier, well worth the money I was fortunate to get 25% off both times.
|

Outstanding Coolers

by
I have purchased the 20, 65 and 145 models. I use them for hunting, fishing and catering. It is the only brand I will buy at this point. I do not believe there is a better value on a cooler.
|

Awesome

by
Great value. I’ve owned a white 65 for a few year now. I’ve beat it up hauling it on a trailer for 150 miles to our camp and that’s counting a half hour drive on pothole ridden dirt roads. The thing is about indestructible as a cooler could be. It’s amazing at keeping ice. These are deffinetely not a box store special. I love my old one so much that I had to get another one this past year. I noticed a nice little up grade with the extra larger drain. Works really nice for letting water out but not all of the water. Great for canned drinks. This past summer I took my two younger boys to our camp for a week. Temps were between 70*-90* all week. Starting with the cooler chilled. Some frozen meat and other chilled foods and two bags of ice. Every thing stayed cold for the entire week with out having to make an ice run. The one with drinks I did end up having to get two bags of ice twordes the end of the week. Only because we did add warm drinks and obviously this cooler was opened and shut much more often then the other was not. Love these things. Especially for the price. Keep up the good work Rtic and you’ll deff have a customer and a unofficial spokes men in me. As I always recommend your coolers to all my friends and family.
|

This is MONEY!

by
This thing is HUGE and well worth the $$$. It kept two monster pronghorn bucks iced down for six days.
|

Amazing

by
This is the best cooler I have ever owned.
|

Sinkbeil

by
Love this cooler have taken it on several camping and hunting trips the past 2 years, and it keeps everything cold for days even in the heat of summer! My only problem is that we left it outside the other night after using it. It got down to 17* that night and the next morning the lid was warped leaving a small gap between the lid and base. I’ll have to wait for summer to see how it effects it’s ability to hold ice, but I’m definitely disappointed.
|

Great Product

by
I use this for hunting and it’s always on a cargo carrier on my Jeep. It serves as extra water proof storage as well as a cooler when I’m lucky. You can’t do better for the money.
|

Horse Camping

by
This is my 2nd year tiwh a 20 RTIC Tan cooler. Absolutely love it. We go horse camping for a week at a time. I put ice in this one, all of my frozen food...and it stays frozen for at least 3 days. Keeps ice for days on end. So glad I purchased one. (Just as good if not better than the "other brand" and the price was the best...)
|

Awesome!!

by
Packed with some food and 20 lb bag of ice, made a 7 hour trip, left it in the car for 8 hours in June, in Florida...still had ice in it 4 days later. Best cooler I’ve ever owned and priced perfectly!
|

Burton

by
Absolutely amazing. Never buy anything else.
|

Excellent Cooler

by
Purchased my 45 Tan during black Friday deals a year ago. I plan on using this cooler for years as the build quality is very solid and it keeps food cold for the days I leave in the morning and don't get home until evening. The slip resistant feet are great for keeping it in place in the bed of my truck. Only thing I wish was easier is tying it down in the bed using bungee straps, otherwise I've never had issues with it sliding around the bed when driving long distances.
|

Amazing

by
Bought the 65 to keep in my van when I'm camping. Made it 6 days with lots of ice left. Only con is, if you leave it in direct sunlight, it'll warp the top and stop the vacuum seal working. The lid went back into shape when it cooled down though. Otherwise amazing cooler, best investment in a cooler that you can make. Looks good, very rugged, drain works very nice, and handles are amazing. 5 star cooler
|

Great Cooler

by
Works exactly as advertised. I filled it on a Saturday over Labor Day weekend and still had ice the following weekend and it spent that entire time in a hot garage. When it's full though the weight and size make moving it a two person job. Hoping they make a wheel kit soon.
|

Excellent quality

by
Just received mine this week, extremely well made and can take a beating. Large enough for anything life will throw at you without being too large for one person to handle.
|

Needs wheels

by
Great cooler however you need to add wheels because there heavy to move
|

Great!

by
So we've had this cooler for almost a year now. It's well worth the money. It held ice for 4 days in 95+ degree weather, the 5th day not really any ice but the the drinks were still cold. We've used it in some cooler weather, around 70 degrees... and you can easily keep ice for 6+ days. The 65 is freaking huge and gets heavy fast. Definitely going to be a 20, and possibly a 45. Great product!!!
|

John S

by
I have the Artic 45 cooler for over a year now. I just can't get over how well it stays cold. I do pre chill with frozen 2 liter bottles and then add ice I don't open very often when it is hot outside 95 or so but it keeps ice over 7 days
|

Underperformed

by
I ordered the RTIC 65 for a 10 day road trip. It was delivered quickly and looked great! We ordered it because of the claim to hold ice for up to 10 days. The thought of not having to replace ice and to not have things swimming at the bottom or the cooler was worth any price. That however wasn't the case. A day into our trip we were already refilling it with ice. It got to the point where our meat was soggy and the melted ice was bloody. So frustrating. Not worth it even at 25% off, I'm sorry to say. I really like their tumblers. Great value and keeps drinks hot/cold as advertised. Disappointed customer.
|

outstanding cooler

by
Best cooler I have owned by far, no need to spend more money on one of the other brand coolers, this cooler will do everything they do and better!
|

Real Deal

by
I’ve been wanting a hard sided cooler in the 110 size for a while. After buying this one we used it at a class reunion with 60 pounds of ice and several cases of drinks. Built just a well and with more capacity than that other brand. Buy this one, not that one, and spend the leftover money filling it with beverages. I highly recommend RTIC.
|

65 RTIC

by
This a very good cooler keeps ice for along time. The only reason it got 4 was the lid had warp and that might of been part my fault. I clean the cooler out kept the lid open while sitting out in the sun. It warped like a banana. Contact rtic warranty was only good for 1 year after purchased. But to my surprise i brought cooler into ac house and most of the warp on lid went away except small bulge on inside. This cooler was tan and the older style. I will still buy another when i need one just be careful not to leave it in direct sun with no is in it.
|

Great cooler, handle is the worst.

by
I have the 20 and have used it for over a year now, with extensive use. It has kept my stuff cooler and longer than any other cooler I have had. In a hot vehicle on a 95+ degree day, the ice will last 1 1/2 days in that heat. In the shade, and around 70 degrees, ice went up to 4 days. The one issue I have is with the handle. It sucks. It has never fit into the cooler correctly and if you lift the cooler with anything in it, the handle pops out of the holes. I am going to make a handle for myself that works. I've been just picking it up by the sides. If they engineered a better handle, they'd have a a 100% winner. I'd buy another one of these, but that handle is the worst.
|

Little disappointed

by
I left me review once before I guess I didn’t save it. First, I have every cooler size made by Rtic I bought the 145 for hunting season and when we have gatherings. Lesson learned you cannot leave the cooler outside in direct sunlight or the top will bow in the center thus letting air inside and ice melting. Disappointed because this was not taken into consideration during design.. was the thought that this cooler would be kept indoors With out direct sunlight? Still A fan or Rtic and the best cooler made is the 45.
|

Great work cooler

by
I work construction and pack a lot of food with me. I opted for the basket and cutting board. The cutting board keeps my drinks on one side, and snacks on the other. The basket keeps two sandwiches in it above my snacks. Perfectly organized. I throw an RTIC ice pack in it and I’m good to go for the day. No buyers remorse here. Buy once cry once!
|

Great Coolers

by
Bought the old style 45 and 65. Love them. They hold ice for 6-7 days in the summer. Have used at elk camp in Colorado twice, and a fly in fishing trip to Canada with dry ice and it keeps meats frozen for 5-7 days depending on the temps. Recently had my 45 stolen while camping and bought a new model. I don’t see many changes other than the extra drain plug which I think will be nice.
|

Replacement parts

by
Great cooler. Since buying mine several of my friends bought too. It sells itself. Unfortunately service after the sale not so great. I had issue with lid that I created. no fault of the cooler. I wanted to buy a lid and RTIC will not sell me new lid so now I have a $200 cooler that is a parts storage tub. Need new lid, the pin that holds it is not an issue, I have stainless suppliers locally that can help with that. Come on RTIC, help keep your coolers and customers happy!!!
|

Great cooler

by
I have resisted buying these types of coolers for years. Mainly because of the cost. Through the FB promo I got 25% off and said why not. Few days later the cooler arrived in perfect shape. Reading all the how too’s to get the most days out of ice I gave it a shot. Pre-chilled the cooler over nigh to frozen gallon jug of water. To my surprise the inside of the cooler was very cold. Friday afternoon I Loaded the cooler in my truck, case of beer, case bottled waters, some fruit and 2 20lb bags of ice. Road trip 104 miles North. Set up camp and hit the beach. 5-6 hours later no ice lost in the blazing 91-92 degree sun. Next day, beach in the AM and then headed home. At home unloaded the cooler on to my rear lanai in the shade. This cool kept ice until Thursday and the remaining water by 6pm Thursday night was still ice cold. So 5 full days of good ice retention in 90* heat. This cooler is a keeper!
|

65 qt

by
The best cooler I have ever had. It's two years old and no problems. I will get another one soon
|

65 QT

by
Great product. No complaints.
|

Big 145

by
I bought a 65 several years ago and have loved it. Planned a 2 week trip so figured I might get the bigger cooler. This thing kept the ice and held way more than we thought we could drink/eat. Can't find a fault in it at all. Love it! Had to wait a while to get a tan one and due to FB sale paid $300. Great deal !
|

Love my cooler

by
I put ice in it at the beginning of the week and it keeps ice all week. And by the weekend the water is still freezing cold.
|

Great Value

by
Got this on sale for same price as the size below. Awesome value. Would highly recommend, even at full price. Quality of construction is very good.
|

Cooler is a joke

by
I have rtic 45 and will do it by the pre-ice and then using it will not last a day with out putting more ice in it not a happy customer
|

Would recommend

by
I've been using this cooler as a fridge in Alaska since May. it keeps ice for a long time, works well as a step to get in and out of my camper, it locks so i don't have to worry about animals getting into it, and its a convienent seat for around a fire, (its always more convienent when your seat keeps your beer cold). I bought the basket with it to keep some condiments, yogurt, and other things in that i didn't want buried under a bunch of ice, food, and beer. The only complaint i have is that i wish the rubber "T" handles were a little shorter so that the cooler was held shut a little tighter. But it performs excellently, would buy another one
|

Dank

by
This cooler is revolutionary! It holds ice longer than expected and is the perfect size for 2, i use it almoat every weekend for camping and have had no problems only 1000% satisfaction.
|

Disappointed

by
Received this as a gift a couple years back. Was excited to have a higher end cooler for an affordable price. However I am pretty let down by the “over built, not over priced” slogan as the following is my experience with the cooler. Upon the first use (30 cans and ice) couldn’t get the handle to stay put. It continually kept popping loose because it’s not secure and doesn’t hold the weight well. Learn to leave the cooler in one spot no big deal. Second use, lost 2:4 rubber feet. Not sure how they managed to come out but pretty annoying that 2:2 removable parts aren’t staying put after only a couple uses. Now this 3rd reason could be user error. However, noticed after the first heavier use party that the straps are starting to shred as well. Not blaming anyone directly for this as it could have been the guests not quite figuring it out and pulling too hard one way or the other. Just feel like something that isn’t getting heavy use wouldn’t have fallen apart after two summers of medium use.
|

If Jesus were to buy a cooler, he'd choose this one.

by
PROS: Easy for one person to carry and maneuver. Sturdy. Looks bad ass. Cheaply priced (comparatively speaking). So much space, all of the space. It will keep your beer colder than a well digger's ass in January. CONS: The plastic/inside smells awful, like communism and China. Low price=direct shipping-this thing showed up looking like it got dropped from a C-130. It almost seals TOO good-I've flipped this thing over trying to get my tasty beers out. SUMMARY: I've used this cooler three times since purchase and it has exceeded my expectations. You should buy this cooler. You need this cooler. Don't buy that "big foot" trash so you can put a dumb sticker on your Ford and show everyone what an uninformed consumer you are. Make the right choice, buy an RTIC.
|

Outstanding cooler!

by
Took it on a deer hunt in 95 degree South Florida weather, and it held ice solid for 4 days!... don’t hesitate to purchase one!- John C
|

Opening problem.

by
I bought this cooler last black Friday sale. Was excited to use it thru the holidays. After a couple of uses the lid would get hard to use. Now I have to unscrew the drain plug to let the pressure out every time. Now ice wont last me but 2 days having to open the drain plug every single time.
|

Amazed

by
Wow we just ordered yesterday and we just received it today! Fast shipping and it’s amazing! Live it!
|

Fantastic cooler

by
I have been drooling over these coolers for a long time. I saw they had a 25% discount going on and immediately purchased two of the 65 rtic coolers. Only used one so far but i will tell you i didn't even pre cool it and threw 20lbs of ice in it on friday night and the next sunday i had just a smidge of ice left in it. So let me recap i have four kids and had milk beef eggs and all sorts of groceries in it and everything was at a safe temp. Even after 9 days of use. Fantastic coolers
|

Wow

by
I place my order and within five minutes, I had a a tracking number. It was delivered to me less than 24 hours after ordering. Great cooler, and outstanding job handling my order.
|

Worth it

by
I had my doubts, but not anymore! My 65 is built like you could survive a nuclear war inside, and it kept a lot of drinks cold for 4 warm days on just 20# of ice. Tough to convince the wife to cough up $240. for an ice chest, but she's totally on board now!
|

where!

by
Not a review really just a complaint! been waiting for weeks for the white 110 but seems that you do t want make them or something
|

Damage due to Rotomolding Process

by
I received an RTIC 45 that was damaged from the rotomolding process. One of the corners has a noticeable dent and the bottom is scratched up. It looks like I was sent a used or B Stock cooler (reassured that it was new just beat up). I’ve contacted customer service and was told that this is normal due to the manufacturing process. Other brands such as ******, Cordova and Otterbox do not seem to have these issues when viewing them in-store. We are very disappointed in RTIC.
|

Ice Keeper

by
I had used igloo rolling coolers in the past which just basically turn ice into water...so lame and expensive. This thing finally did the trick and kept the ice really well. My kids go in and out of it all the time which hurts the ice keeping ability, but sooo much better that a standard cooler. I love this brand and have a ton of their stuff...I guess I'm a bit of a fanboy, but its really good quality and great prices. It is a bit heavy once loaded, I can lift it up to the rack on the back of my car, but to actually move it when camping is a bit of a burden, so I bought a set of wheels on eBay for it so I can move it solo. Keep up the good work and please get the accessories back in! I need that 65 rack and cutting board divider. Using a dry-bag for food inside is a bit ridiculous. Thanks again!!
|

Great Product

by
I use this cooler mostly for hunting and I couldn't be happier with it. It's very tough and withstands things it probably shouldn't. I've lopped off a few hooves with an axe before turning meat over to the processor while using the cooler as a backstop and it still performs great. I won a competitors soft pack cooler in a raffle and was in awe of how much it was in comparison to this hard cooler. I've since bought a larger version to accompany this one. I bought once and didn't cry once. It's a great product.
|

Awesome

by
Decided to try the RTIC instead of spending all that money of ******, and I’m very impressed. Just cleaned my 145 cooler after 12 days at elk camp and I still had a little bit of ice. Everything was still very cold. I will definitely buying more of RTIC coolers soon
|

A Little Warning

by
I purchased the RTIC 145 cooler thought it would be the greatest thing ever in the summer time at the lake or outdoors anytime it is HOT in the TX sun. My learning has told me that the cooler is an awesome cooler however cannot be exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period of time or the top will warp in the center therfore breaking the sealed tight environment. Not to be alarmed when the sun goes away and the cooler cools down it does go back to its normal shape but it is a little disappointing that this happens. I have used it many times but this was the results of the very first use.
|

Disappointment

by
I ordered the 65L cooler after a weekend of camping where I continually had to make runs to the store for ice to keep my previous cooler stocked. The RTIC was my solution to this problem. I received the unit about a week ago and was disappointed with the shipment handling. The box had clearly been damaged and the cooler was scuffed and had a decent sized dent. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that the defects were part of the manufacturing process and are not covered under the warranty, despite including photos of the damaged packaging. When purchasing a premium product, I expect a premium buying experience. This fell short for me. Overall, I am disappointed and would not recommend RTIC products in the future until improvements are made to the buying experience. I cannot speak to its cooling abilities yet but hope it lives up to the hype.
|

Excellent

by
This is my second RTIC. Great coolers great price. Thank you for your support of the second amendment!
|

Dented

by
Recieved a dented blemished cooler. Hopefully it can get resolved without me paying restocking fee.
|

Perfect camping cooler

by
I recently purchased my first Rtic cooler, the 45 in tan. Took it on a 4 day camping trip in the pnw and never had to refill the ice as it hardly melted. Also the dual drain plugs are very practical and handy.
|

Great Cooler!!

by
Very impressed with this cooler. Never bought a cooler at a higher price before but glad I did. Went beyond my expectations. RTIC RULES!!!!!

Purchased the 65 in seafoam after checking out other brands online. Went on a three day camping trip in the upper Midwest. Days are warm, nights are cool. Filled the cooler with chilled/frozen food and 40lbs of ice. Upon returning home the cooler stayed in the back of my vehicle. Currently on day 8 and there is still ice. I do not believe perishables (ie fresh meats) that need to be frozen until used would be good, but anything that can be refrigerated for an extended period would be chilled and not spoiled. Our camping partners and us brought other traditional coolers and had to buy ice every single day for the other coolers. Extremely impressed with this purchase. Highly recommend. Will definitely purchase more coolers to replace our others.

65

by
Love it but have a very hard time trying to open it
|

Awesome

by
Bought the 45 about a year ago. Put Ice in it on Wed and still had Ice Sunday afternoon. Kept it indoors but still pretty amazing. If you like wasting your money, buy a ******. if you want the same thing for at least half buy Rtic.
|

Great Value, mold slightly damaged

by
I'd give this 5 starts and it deserves 5 stars except my cooler has slight damage on the right padlock corner. The top and bottom are dented and look like they didn't come out of the mold quite right or got damaged in shipping. While the cooler will still work and probably see worse abuse, it takes the some excitement out of receiving the cooler but its not worth replacing .

Blue 20

by
Love this cooler. Great for the beach holds ice a long time. Also have a 65 and love that one to. Great coolers

20 Owner

by
Bought a RTIC Hard 20 after weeks of online research. VERY HAPPY, Great product. Used ice packs and ice cubes in 102 degree weather with 80% humidity. After 24 hours the bottles of water I had in the cooler began to develop ice inside of them. In the process of ordering a 45 right now. Recommending RTIC to all of my friends.

Holy Shipping Batman!

by
I ordered this cooler Friday morning at 11:10AM and it was on my from porch less than 24 hours later!!! It’s still in the box, so it could be a bunch of beanie babies for all I know, but I am still impressed!!
|

Top Notch

by
I am an avid camper and have had plenty of ice chests in my life. I bought this cooler and will never buy anything but RTIC products again! I have camped for 5+ days in pretty warm conditions and never had to purchase ice. All my fellow campers were buying ice daily. I will be buying the 65 next for a little more space. Product is well built, sturdy and can handle any weather conditions. Well Done RTIC, keep to your motto, Over Built - Not Over Priced.
|

Great coolers

by
I have a 20qt, 30qt soft cooler also a 20qt hard and just purchased a 65qt blue hard cooler. And a few 30oz tumblers You can’t go wrong for the price and quality. Shipping is fast. Thanks RTIC for offering such a quality product at a great price.
|

Amazing cooler

by
Cooler spent 4 days in the hot sun, constantly being opened and rummaged through. The ice barely melted and everything was kept extremely cold the entire time! So impressed with this cooler, especially for the price!
|

Outstanding value

by
I bought my RTIC 2 years ago and it has been a great cooler.
|

30/45

by
I have a 20 and 45 both are awesome coolers the only thing that would make them better is if their was a portable dolly that would adapt to all sizes when they get packed with goodies and get heavy to wheel around easily .
|

RTIC 20

by
Love this cooler. Keeps ice well in the heat and humidity of Arkansas.
|

Great Price for Great Cooler

by
This is a very good cooler with an even better price, I have a 70 Qt Pelican that cost around 100$ more and this cooler holds ice and keeps things cold just as good as the Pelican does, and it is by far cheaper than the brand that it looks very similar to. Over all I am very happy with the way this cooler performs the only thing I would prefer would be a longer warranty, other than that, I have zero complaints. GREAT COOLER!!
|

Awesome product

by
I have had the 65 since you guys first released them I have enjoyed it. The best cooler I have had I highly suggest your products to all my friends. I just recently purchased the 145 and can't wait to use it.
|

Great cooler!

by
Fantastic cooler. Has really great ice retention. I’ve had mine for a few weeks not and could not be happier. Thanks so much Ashlee for your help with the cooler! Also thanks for your support of the 2nd amendment.
|

Excellent cooler

by
This cooler keeps things cold for a long time. We live far from town, so we throw our groceries in there with ice and run all of our other errands, and our food stays cold in a hot car. Also use for camping and it works great. Very durable. High quality drain plugs. Glad I bought it!
|

by
Hands down the Best Ive Owned!! getting a 65qt, love my 45qt
|

Great cooler

by
I left my 65 outside in Florida sun (4th of July) next to other guys roadie mine had ice in it 3 days longer then roadie
|

Didn’t Pre-Chill; Ice held for 5 days

by
Bought myself an Rtic 20. I was a bit skeptical that for a significantly cheaper price than competitors, it would retain ice as well. I was wrong. I filled the cooler to the brim with ice and some cans of soda. Did not pre chill. Ice held for 5 days! And this was in scorching SoCal! I already got myself a 45 and recommended a cooler to my older brother. It’s compact size makes it perfect for a one or 2 day wheeling trip, one or 2 night camping trip. If you plan to eat at restaurants on road trips, this is the perfect beverage cooler for the trip.
|

Rtic 20

by
Absolutely love it, the only thing I like but don’t like is the suction on the gasket on the lid when it closes and stay closes for while it’s a pain in the ass to open, you have to yank like hell to open it or open the drain plug to take some of the suction off. But other than that I love it thinking about getting the 45
|

Great product

by
I recently purchased the 65 in tan. Upon receiving cooler I immediately fell in love. Just used it this past weekend for the first time. Cooler stayed in back of my quad cab pickup from Thursday to Sunday at Bristol races. Had ice all the way up until Sunday morning. Drinks stayed frigid cold even with temps in my truck well above 110 degrees or higher at times I’m sure. Great product and so thankful I made the purchase. I highly recommend to people interested. Tips for usage is don’t drain water at any times till you are through with usage.
|

Good Cooler

by
Well Built cooler, but don't expect it to keep ice for 10 days. Even inside the house I've never had ice stay for more than two to three days.

Looking for a 45 Quart Cooler with "WHEELS", "****** Coolers" has one, stay up with the COMPETITION don't fall behind, Wheels, Wheels, Wheels on Coolers PERIOD !!!
|

Great cooler but heavy

by
This cooler is awesome! But I'd wished I'd adjusted my eyes to bigger is better. These coolers are really heavy. What I know now. I'd rather have had 3x45 coolers. A more expensive option. But, I could have put one on a hand truck loaded with ice and or food and drink and roll out front door of house to trailer. A 65 is too wide and heavy to do that. I can't imagine any version bigger unless you load it in place or have the "Hulk" on your speed dial, or a forklift to move it. Great cooler just the same. But smaller and more of them would have been better solution in my case. Still a great product, just adding prospective.
|

Keeps it cold!

by
Purchased a tumbler recently that promised to keep my drink cold for 24 hours. They lie!! It’s 24 hours and beyond!! A great purchase!
|

Ok

by
Quality control. Just got my cooler today and one of the latches that hold the lid shut is somewhat deformed and doesn't really latch and secure like the other side does. I also have a 20 and I've had to glue 2 of the bottom pads back on. I know they're not as expensive as some of the other Roto coolers, but it's still expensive for a cooler.
|

Aweso.e cooler

by
My brother won the Rtic 45 (white). We took it on a bachelor party and I loved it so much I ordered one (tan) the day we got back. The ice didnt melt all weekend and all we had to do was keep adding beer. Definitely worth the price. Only complaint is also one thing I love, the slip resistant feet suck for loading into my truck cause it cant slide. But once in the truck it never slid.
|

Extreme Heat conditions worthy

by
I live in extreme heat conditions. Last month was over 110F every month, and it hit 120F a couple of days. I keep my RTIC in my truck, and put frozen bottles of water in it. My water gets room temp around 4-5 days. Sounds like it's not living up to performance claims. But the inside of my truck probably hits 150F+. Prior, I've never owned a cooler that could keep my water cold for more than half a day.
|

Poor Customer Service

by
I purchased an RTIC 65 and received it last week. Now they have a promotional sale that applies to this cooler. My cooler still has the tag on it and RTIC won’t honor the sale price or even apply a credit to purchase other items from RTIC. It doesn’t make sense to return a cooler, and then buy another one in order to get the sale price. The cooler itself seems like high quality, but I’m disappointed in their customer service.
|

Awesome!

by
I love my Rtic cooler! i have it locked to the bed of my truck with the Deny Locking system and in the summer heat it'll hold ice for about 6 days parked right in the sun. awesome product
|

Awesome coolers

by
I am up to 7 coolers that I have bought for different reasons, using some common sense the hard coolers work great and saves on ice when using them for a period of time. The 20 works great in my Bass boat as a cooler & seat , only thing I would need is a set of wheels for the 65s . Thanks

45 review

by
Buy the rtic 45. Recently went on a camping trip with someone who packed a case of bottled water and 2 bags of ice in a standard cooler. It was very hot but all of the ice melted in the standard cooler within 24 hrs. My rtic 45 held ice like a pro. It was great to have the side by side comparison to see how much better the rtic is than a regular cooler. Buy one for sure. Tan is great, cleans up easily.
|

45

by
Bought my 45 3 years ago still holds ice like it did when it was new and seals like hell absolutely love it definitely gonna get another one
|

Designed to leak according to MFR

by
I purchased an RTIC 45 cooler last month and used it for the first time last weekend on a trip to the outer banks and was shocked to find that the valve leaks. What is worse is it leaked hamburger blood / water inside my wife’s Expedition on a 90 deg summer day while driving to the campsite. The car still stinks a week later. I wrote to RTIC Customer service and received this email response which reads. "I apologize for the confusion regarding the cooler and it's function. The condensation and minor leaking is infact a norm for our hard sided coolers. " I do not believe buying a plug for the inside of the cooler should be necessary to prevent a premium cooler of this price point from leaking. On the positive side it did keep ice longer than my $30 Igloo but the Igloo also did not leak in the car.
|

Impressed !

by
I’ll never buy another ******. I’m very impressed with this company my cooler shipped in 3 days ! I already started shopping for more products on their site.
|

Tan 65

by
My buddy has a boat and I have the 65 RTIC! Loaded up we can still get it in and out of the boat. Lasts all weekend and has extra ice for fish boxes on a good trip! Can't head out fishing without the RTIC!🛥🎣
|

All over

by
I have several rtic coolers the 45s I have are some of the best coolers I’ve ever owned but this 65 I have looks like the top is warped or something and does not seal as it should so it doesn’t keep ice but a couple days n the rubber feet have fallen off and now they won’t go back in the holes anymore !!! Very disappointed in this particular one !😢
|

Best Cooler I've Ever Had

by
This is THE best cooler I have ever had. Big enough for the trips I go on and keeps cold longer than anyone ever expected. Built tough and ready for whatever you throw at it. Definitely a steal for the price. I have had many coolers in the past but nothing has been able to last as long as this one has.
|

Tan 65QT

by
Just because it is cheaper than most all of the other coolers out there does not mean it is less effective at what it is intended for. This cooler is well built, solid and holds ice as good as my 70 QT Pelican. The only down side is that it looks a lot like another brand that I will not mention. I ordered this cooler and received it with in a week so unless you are in a super big hurry, it is worth the short wait. Over all I think it is a great cooler and I am looking forward to many years of use with it.
|

RTIC 20 and 65

by
Best cooler I have ever purchased. Keeps ice a long time better then Yetti. We also have the lunch cooler love them also. Forever a RTIC fan tumbler are awesome. Actually I have a ton of the products and love all of them. Thanks RTIC will be doing future purchases.

I am a believer

by
Bought a blue 45... prechilled it for 8 hours - then loaded up with case of beer and 20lb of ice.. put on my deck Saturday for party in 90 degrees temp and in direct sun half day.. Sunday all day 95 again in sun - still 50% ice, Monday 98 degrees humid and sun - still ice floating and 2 beers still ice cold :) - I am a believer!!
|

Not Bear Resistant

by
I bought a 65 cooler and a 45 cooler for a camping trip and found out on the first night of our four-day trip that the cooler is not bear resistant. Woke up at 4 o’clock in the morning and found our 65 cooler laying on its back with the lid open and the majority of our food for the camping trip eaten and off of the ce spilled out. Our 45 cooler that was storing our drinks was upside down with both of the latches open. Fortunately that cooler wasn’t pushed back because it would have opened and spilled everywhere. I called RTIC and was told that the coolers aren’t “Certified Bear Resistant” and pretty much it is what it is. I responded with certified or not their website states that the cooler Is bear resistant and that should be removed from the website because it is false advertisement. I got a sorry a bear got into the cooler from the lady on the phone and that was about it.
|

OK

by
I have had my cooler for a year now. I have tried everything but my 65 has only ever had ice last 3 days. I prechill but still no luck. The 3 days was in 50 degree temp. I have been using my cooler for the last 7 days and have had to put about 100lbs of ice in it to keep my drinks cold. Also do mixed drinks so need ice but if I don’t put a new bag in each day no drinks for me.
|

Great for Striped Bass

by
Really enjoy this cooler for fishing. Have it in the back seat of my car and it kept 40# of ice for over 5 days. Pretty impressive for such a small amount of ice in a very hot environment >130F or more every day. Fits striped bass perfectly. Not having to buy ice each time I have a keeper this cooler will pay for itself in a couple seasons.
|

Sportman

by
Last wk july 24 thru july 30th. Took a trip thru idaho selway country and high country of divide between selway and salmon rivers. Temps during day, 90f low 60f. Outside in environment entire time on a 4 wheeler trailer. The box servived without a scratch. Ice on return home was better than half of what we started with. All food items remained refrigerator cold. Worth while purchase.

Great Cooler

Great cooler for the price!

Great Cooler but Accessories unavailable

by
Great Cooler but the accessories are unavailable. Like the plugs (one fell out into water). basket etc. We have been waiting for about 2 months and they are still unavailable.
|

Met expectations

by
Just received my 45 a week ago. Impressed with the quick shipping, and the cooler met expectations for ice retention. But a few blemishes and scratches on the cooler had me give it 4 stars. It appeared like it had been used when unboxed because of the scratches and imperfections but performed like it was supposed to.
|

145 Rtic

by
Bought one for our boat, great cooler at a great price. Would love to buy a 190, when will those come out?
|

Rtic 45..

by
This thing is the bomb. It is perfect for the trunk or the back seat of my truck. I did my own test with it and it holds ice for five days in the back of my service truck at 100+ degrees every day on the fifth day in the afternoon I will need to add ice. We have took my 45 and 65 both on a camping weekend trip and up there it was down to 35 degrees early in the morning and 68-72 in the afternoon and when it was over with I only drained out about 32- 45 ounces of water and still plenty plenty of ice left over. We both love these coolers now that we don’t have to leave gods country to get more ice
|

20 and 65 qt tan

by
I have both the 20 quart and 65 qt hard side AND the 40 can soft side (along with 8 can lunch box and drink ware)... LOVE how they keep food cold for long periods of time. I have used all of them based on needs for the outing, and I have yet to be disappointed in performance. I have loaned them out to neighbors for backyard parties and the RTIC Coolers were the only coolers that they didn't have to refill with ice mulitple times in the day (was high 90's, beer and soda, frequent openings on all coolers...ours still had most of the original ice and very little water!). I have had these for anywhere from a couple months (lunch box), to 2 years (20/65qt coolers). As needed, will buy again!
|

Cooler

by
Our son got us one for Christmas. It's the best cooler we have ever had. Love it. Stays cold longer than any other.
|

Whitewater Approved

by
I do a lot of whitewater rafting and decided to give the RTIC 145 a shot for a 6 day 100 mile middle fork salmon trip. I was not disappointing in the least. The weather turned off really hot for Idaho "Mid 90's every day". I packed my 145 with 3 blocks of ice, all the beer it could hold, and 40 lbs of cubed ice on top on July 7th.. On July 13th when we took off we still had a lot of ice and more importantly ice cold beer... The ice finally ran out on day 12. We did use cooler management by transferring beers to a smaller cooler to minimize opening the 145, and kept it covered with a wet towel.
|

What a cooler

by
Many of my friends have bought "the other guys cooler" for more money. I got this cooler a few weeks ago and it has out performed my highest expectations. Ice lasted for days and did not need the night before cool down to do it. So worth the money and super strong straps. My son and I filled it to the rim with ice and straps didn't budge. Will continue to use Rtic for future cooler and tumbler needs. Great company, great products, and awesome customer support. Can't say enough about them.
|

Great buy

by
I have had this cooler for a while now, and it's fantastic! It's a definite must buy and a great value.
|

Cold Beer

by
I bought the 45 for tailgating and the beach, and when they say the ice doesn't melt they don't lie. I put ice in the cooler on the 4th of July at the beach and it was still there on the 7th. Life is way better when your drinks don't get warm!
|

Best cooler

by
My wife bought me this cooler and it was the best ice chest I've ever owned. The price is also better than the competition. Now I'm gonna order a soft 20 cooler.
|

Great cooler, needs one tweak

by
I love this RTIC 20 cooler, but would prefer if it had 2 handles versus the single pullover handle. When its loaded up and I try to pull the cooler towards me, the only thing available to grab is the vertical part of the handle from the end. In doing so, it pulls away from the cooler. Over time, I'm afraid it will bend. I've rigged a rope around the cooler, over the handle inserts to give me something to pull on instead.
|

Awesome Cooler!!!!!

by
My wife gave me the RTIC 45 cooler for my birthday 2 years ago. I absolutely love this cooler. I live in southern Alabama and it holds ice in the middle of July (98*+) for 5 days and then the ice water is still cold for 4 or 5 more days in the back of my truck!! I'm a avid Crappie fisherman and I wish that RTIC would make a live bait bucket or cooler with optional aerator. I think I will order the RTIC 20 and make it my minnow cooler, I can set it up with a battery operated water pump bait aerator which like I did with an old Igloo cooler years ago. This should hold my minnows and shiners for several days when at the lake fishing. Well worth every cent!! Thanks RTIC for a Great product!!
|

Pretty great!

by
Love my cooler so far! Have used it for a couple 5 day camping trips and it has done a great job of maintaining the ice! Even with repeated entries to get a fresh beer. On the first trip out, one of the handles let go. Had to tie a knot in it to continue using it. One side has a shorter handle now. It'll do.
|

Value for Money

by
Like the cooler a lot! It's bigger inside then the "Y" guys and holds more. Problem is the feet. When it's full and try to slide the cooler the rubber ( I think they are rubber ) feet grab and disconnect from the cooler. Not a real big deal to till you loose one of the feet. I have a spray in bed liner and it pulls the feet out pretty easy. I called RTIC and they said to try some silicone sealant if I want the feet to stay in place. Sounds like they should ship it with the sealant already applied.
|

great purchase

by
By far the best cooler for the money!
|

Incredible

by
I purchased this cooler on a Tuesday afternoon with low hope that I would get it before the upcoming weekend where I wanted to use it. Sure enough, Friday afternoon it arrived! Just in time for the big weekend. It was put through its paces and it did not disappoint. Filled it up with some beverages and ice only to wake up Sunday morning to a cooler full of ice. Not one drop of water was at the bottom. Everything was solid and cold. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and I will never hesitate to turn my family and friends onto this brand!
|

Ms.

by
Thiis cooler is awesome! Only problem...no wheels.
|

Best cooler I've ever owned

by
I love how sturdy, dependable and how long my cooler keeps ice. I work construction and use to buy ice every morning. Now I buy ice once a week. Best cooler for the price
|

As promised

by
Our first RTIC “Hard” cooler, previously purchased soft coolers and drink ware. Used on our recent camping trip to the NC Outerbanks. We were totally impressed as one large bag of ice lasted several days, this during a moderate heat wave. Without question, our next cooler will be an RTIC! Thank you, Mark & Catherine
|

65 qt

by
Bought mine 3 years ago. Really holds ice for 3 days. I buy bulk ice for $2 for 20lbs & keep in SUV. Already paid for itself. Only problem is sometimes a vacuum occurs when lid closes hard & difficult to open.
|

Dry ICE

by
My artic 45 is one month oid, Used 10lb block of dry ice wrapped in a heavy towel. the next day inner linner separated from insulation and bowed up.
|

FEET

by
I've had this rtic 45 gallon for over a year and it holds ice alright but in our Texas weather only for a day or two max in 90+ weather. I was disappointed when a non-slip rubber foot came off and saw the yellow foam filled cooler. I was expecting a different material. Dirt sticks pretty firmly to lid even when scrubbed with firm bristle brush. Oh, its super heavy empty. Needs wheels BADLY! I got it as gift ,but wouldn't buy another.
|

Rtic 20

by
I’ve owned the 45 tan for two years. I love it, but it’s too big for just one person. Fine when we are going so
